Phillip Seymour-Hoffman, as great as he was, was in Patch Adam's which was an awful movie (his performance was good, though) and in Twister which was a mediocre film where the twister itself was the only great thing about it (and his performance wasn't exactly great in that movie), so he should be ineligible for this list. Also, there's many other noteworthy actors missing from this list.

Changing things just for the sake of it rarely works, especially when the original is still fresh in our minds and is beloved. I predict that, with the exception of a vocal minority, it will not be received well.

The should make at least one The Monk episode, as I've always felt the original storyline could have been handled better. Bigger, perhaps. And if it is set in the Fourties, there must be WWII references. How did Bruce Wayne avoid the draft? Will the Batman break up Nazi saboteur rings? Not every episode, of course, but occasionally throw that in as a story element. Might give the series some context.

Having seen crash for the first time in 2024… I think the core message as I saw it is still very relevant. To say it isn’t discounts the institutional divides that keep us all from looking at our role as part of the widespread problems that we are all a part of… the fear of what we don’t know and understand in others and the human tendency to jump to conclusions leading to larger problems born from misunderstanding and that same fear. It is a movie to start the conversation about our own biases, which feels as important now as ever. To think beyond ourselves and challenge the loop of our own ignorant behaviors which we all have. Also… I think it was much more impactful than capote to leave the audience with food for thought. To me that’s why film and art is so important! Maybe I’m off touch, though it is a movie that makes me want to be better to all those around me. To seek to understand instead of analyze. We never know the world that shaped their point of view as well as we think we do.

Another one to add is, Robert Englund not playing as Freddy in the rebooted Nightmare on Elm Street.

Bits and pieces of this movie were great but to many useless fillers. Would have been better if more depth and time on the Manson angle.

I was upset that Evie was changed in Mummy 3. Wasn't John Connor replaced because the original was an addict? That would have been more fitting at the start of the movie. I've heard that Edward Furlong was dealing with drug addiction issues at the time, so that's why he was replaced for T3 with Nick Stahl (who turned out to have addiction problems as well).

Now You See me is a terrible movie, with nonsensical characters, a plot that makes less sense the more you think about it, a telegraphed, “big twist,” and a totally ridiculous reveal that makes even less sense than the whole pointless exercise of the plot in the first place. And the only guy who could be credited as having any sense or being a decent person (Morgan Freeman’s character) gets jailed in the end, making the viewer hate all the smug, arrogant, self absorbed, irritating lead characters even more! It’s an idiot’s version of what idiots think smart people are like.

What I'd like to see is them cross Batman over with the heroes of that era, namely, the Justice Society. Alan Scott/Green Lantern, Jay Garrick/Flash, etc. Maybe even do one-off movies partnering him up with other pulp heroes from that time, like The Shadow, from whom Bob Kane "borrowed" liberally.

I think the Camaro/Firebird one is a bit nitpicky as they are essentially the same car. They are both made by the same company as Pontiac and Chevy were owned by General Motors.
